Some of my tasks as a due diligence agent focused on KYC (Know Your Customer), KYB (Know Your Business), EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence), and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) were:

  • Verified customer identities, ID´s, passports, driving license... as part of the onboarding process, making sure everything met the rule and identifying fake documents.
  • Kept track of customer information and profiles to ensure compliance with our standards.
  • Reviewed business clients to make sure they were legit, checking important documents and ownership info.
  • Assessed the risk of corporate clients and took steps to lower exposure to any potential money laundering activity.
  • Conducted extra checks for clients that posed higher risks, diving deep into account behavior and backgrounds.
  • Wrote up detailed reports on findings and suggested ways to manage any identified risks.
  • Carried out customer checks to confirm identities and ensure we were following anti-money laundering rules.
