Contributing to the Professional and effective delivery of central financial management and administration for the Trust, undertaking a wide range of financial management duties and acting as first line support to academies on financial queries and undertaking maintenance and management of central accounting records and banking. This includes purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger, intercompany ledgers, purchase ordering, cash book and credit card reconciliation.
Carry out monthly checks of the monthly management account submissions by each academy.
Preparing Trust monthly VAT returns for submission to HMRC ensuring the records are accurate and up to date.
Provide support to the wider team when required.
Worked for a small company which has a mixed portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounting data.
