Worked doing critical care transport of patients from a lower level of care to a higher level at a level 1 trauma center. Patients received the highest level of care from my team. Patients were normally on a vent, several IV drip medications including sedation. At times patients were transported with a-lines, balloon pumps, chest tubes and other monitoring devices. Transports could last 15 minutes to several hours..
